Если это AVA-2904, то, согласно спецификации

и описанию http://download.adaptec.com/pdfs/ava2904.pdf , его основное
предназначение - работа со сканерами, DVD, магнитооптикой и пр.
BIOS на нём не предусмотрен, загрузиться с него не получится.

Современных? Последние драйверы к этому адаптеру датированы
