Было дело, паял года 4 назад. После смены работы потерялись как инфа по
сборке, так и софт (точнее всё осталось там). После больше не заморачивался
этим вопросом. Работал, как помню, через lpt порт - если в течении некоторого
времени на него не поступали сигналы, то девайс "жал" reset. Алгоритм
вычисления времени простой: после каждой неудачной (т.е. сигналы не приходят)
попытки он увеличивал время на заданное количество минут(это нужно для
ситуации, например, проверки диска при включении), после успешного старта
сбрасывал на умолчательные.
Хотя судя по статистике работы нынешних серверов ни разу за 2 года не было
висов. Так что надобность такого устройства для меня отпала.
