Здравствуйте.
Могу сообщить, что "треуголка" на 53C416 (со сканерами HP такие
часто шли) -- которая "недо-SCSI-контроллер" -- нормально
завелась на ALM2.4 с модулем sym53c416, не потребовав ни массажа
isapnp, ни передачи портов... сущий PnP :)
Вот из записок ядра (в карточку воткнут Primax):

Грузит систему при работе вполне приемлемо -- где-то как IDE-диск
в PIO, бишь незаметно не проходит, но и не становимся колом, как
с DMX436 (g_NCR5380). С учётом частоты надобности в сканировании
и того, что за год найти старенький адаптек с DB25 лениво не
вышло -- устраивает :)
