Вероятно, в XF86Config-4 написано просто
Load "glx"
вместо
Load "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.a"
В этом случае вместо модуля libglx.a иногда подцепляется libglx.so от
драйверов nVidia, с которым другие драйверы не работают.
Можно просто удалить все пакеты nvidia_glx_* - при отсутствии
соответствующего железа пользы от них нет никакой.
