Попробую. Просто ранее только на OSS и сидел и даже не подозревал об
ALSA :-) Проблема была в том, что mencoder тогда вместо звука писал
щелчки и все. Посоветовали перейти на alsa, было все пучком, пока не
переустановил Линукс на домашней машине.
Ох уж эти набортные 5.1 звуковухи...
