Здравствуйте!
Хотим купить для сервера один из RAID-контроллеров 3Ware -- 8506-4LP или
9500S-4LP (для построения raid 0+1 на четырех SATA-дисках).
Известны ли проблемы с поддержкой этих контроллеров в ALM 2.4?
Можно ли ставить систему сразу на массив, а не на промежуточный IDE-диск с
последующим добавлением модулей и пр.?

1-й отлично работает. Можно ставить сразу.
Единственно, если мать ServerWorks, может понадобиться при загрузке ядра
(и при установке тоже) указать pci=noacpi
