День добрый.
пара вопросов и реплик по ноутам.
1. на Asus m5n X-ы на модуле i810.
пробовал компакт+сизиф, asplinux 9.2.
А вот на debian все заработало с X 4.3 из unstable.
К чему бы это?
2. есть еще ноут asus m6800n.
не могу заставить работать dsdt - ядро 2.4.25 (как я понимаю с патчем
dsdt-initrd)
делаю
echo -n "INITRDDSDT123DSDT123" >> /boot/initrd
cat DSDT.aml >> /boot/initrd
echo -n "INITRDDSDT123DSDT123" >> /boot/initrd
а dmesg говорит что не видит dsdt.
что-то не правильно делаю?

Разве файл initrd называется /boot/initrd ?
Кроме того, сигнатура в конце для этого патча не нужна (а для тех
версий, для которых она нужна, там должно быть 321, а не 123).
При использовании LILO после изменения initrd нужно вызывать
/sbin/lilo.
