Здравствуйте!
Попросили меня тут знакомые собрать небольшой dial-in сервер для
внутренних нужд на 5 линий. Т.к. денег у людей не очень много, пришла
такая мысль - можно ли вместо пачки внешних модемов + мультикарты сделать
следующее: купить мать с full size ATX (5-6 PCI+int Video/LAN), напихать
туда что-нить на Lucent/HCF во все 5 слотов. В теории, если такие модемы
понимают ATA/умеют вовремя клать трубу и нормально инициализироваться, то
экономия получается существенная. Тем более, для такой железки даже HDD не
нужен, только память и корпус поменьше ну и проц похолоднее %) Кто-нибудь
пробовал подобное сделать?
PS Связка на Lucent более предпочтительнее - есть опыт экплуатации
