Доброго времени суток всем!
Очень надо привести в рабочее состояние сетевую карточку на плате Abit
NF7-S2G (VIA Networking Velocity Family Giga-bit Ethernet Adapter).
В списках рассылки нашёл фактически тот же вопрос, но без ответа:

(там есть вывод lspci с такой материнки)
На машине стоит Compact 2.3. Сама машина находится довольно далеко от
меня и её владелица в линуксах не варит :( Так что надо поднять
сетевуху при минимуме телодвижений, а потом уж подключим по кабелю к
интернет и всё будет в ажуре.
Буду очень рад советам, особенно от владельцев подобной материнки.
