Hello All.
Недавно перешел на Debian Sarge (2.4.27-386-2), однако пока на машине
еще остался АЛМ 2.4.
Проблема: сабжевая связка на SiS-овской материнке в дебиане посылает
машину в suspend, вместо того чтобы убить иксы. Происходит эта беда
независимо от того, нахожусь я в консоли или иксах.
Долгий поиск по гуглю дал следующие наводки:

т.е. не я один такой. Машина может либо виснуть, либо вырубаться, либо
уходить в suspend (как у меня). Впрочем, один раз сделал rmmod apm,
после чего если нажать CAB, то все мертво виснет =)
Опции apm=off acpi=off не помогают. Отключение-включение power management в
биосе никак не влияет.
Однако ж в АЛМ такого не наблюдалось. Вопрос: сталкивался ли кто с
такой бедой? как решалось?
Возможно, в АЛМ на ядро наложен хитрый патч специально для чипсетов
SiS?
Буду благодарен за любые наводки.
