ERC не заменяет zenirc, это разные расширения. Тем не менее, я думаю
все основные функции zenirc (и много еще чего свыше того) erc
выполняет. Кроме того, zenirc - давно уже мертвый проект. Учитывая,
что он еще и не работает - согласен,
emacs-zenirc -> obsolete
