С плохими эльфами предпочтительно бороться, нежели ослаблять проверку.
Особенно если плагин. Иначе просто будет сегфолтится. Здесь замечена
бинарная несовместимость: не хватает конкретных символов,
предоставляемых другими библиотеками, сам-то пакет собрался. Эти символы
появились, возможно, вследствие обновления версии или какого-то патча.
Так что дело скорее не в собираемом пакете, а в его окружении.
