В rpm в первую очередь. (В apt должно быть также.)
Кажется, в своих изменениях в apt я старался не реализовать алгоритмы
заново, а использовать функции из rpm.

Да, обновляемость у нас линейный порядок, в котором все компоненты
сравниваются. (E:V-R:D@T)
Он не совпадает с удволетворением зависимостей.
