Hello!
Предлагаю добавить в ALT packaging howto описание того, как надо
оформлять переводы Summary и description в spec-ах, а именно как
указывать язык. Нигде в документации я этого не нашёл.
Экспериментальным путём я установил, что подходит только указание вида
ru_RU.CP1251 (т.е. все 3 компоненты обязательны). Часто в spec-ах можно
встретить короткое обозначение для европейских языков, например
Summary(de): ...
но это ни к чему хорошему не приводит. А точнее, тогда значение
становится "неперекодируемым", и в локали с другой кодировкой, чем у
создателя spec-а, описание пакета не будет показано правильно:
LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 rpm -q minicom -i
всё равно выведет информацию в 8-битной кодировке.
Если же написать:
Summary(de_DE.ISO8859-2): ....
(или ISO8859-1??)
то оно будет перекодироваться. (Более короткое de.ISO8859-2 тоже не
подходит.)
А вообще удобнее совмещать в одном spec-е не CP1251 и ISO8859-{1,2}, а
всё писать в UTF-8, но тогда это .UTF8 тоже нужно не забывать.
