Я бы советовал обернуть все такие куски блоками
%if_with kyсок
...
%endif
В случае, если в следующей сборке заработает,
достаточно будет написать в начале
%def_with kyсок
я так делаю в libquicktime

возможно надо поискать в Makefile.ac
упоминания avcodec и
добавить / заменить на -lavcodec
подробнее смотреть надо.
