Очень на это похоже. Пакеты типа kernel-image-led-* слишком большие и
в них слишком много патчей.
[root@prometheus ~]# ls -la

Так как патчей очень много, а сторадж сетевой, то это очень медленно.
На каждый патч он выкачивает пакет заново. (С пакетом chromium тоже
самое, только он ещё больше.) Надо сделать кеширование пакетов на
локальной файловой системе, должно стать быстрее. И как побочный
эффект, стабильнее.
