Либо это причина другого следствия, либо следствие другой причины.

А не встречаются ли там разные описания одной и той же сущности?
В смысле, разные макросы, определяюшие одно и то же?
Тогда имеет смысл вместо порождения собственного специализированного
пакета со своими макросами
использовать уже имеющийся пакет.
