И снова здравствуйте,
Тихо и незаметно вышел eeepc-live 2.8.12.
Из изменений - появились cdemu, subfs, midori (в дополнение к firefox,
потому что случаи бывают разные) и dcfldd (отличная замена dd).
Исправлена ошибка с перезаписью конфига pcmanfm, исправлены ассоциации
файлов (по умолчанию графические файлы открываются в gqview, а pdf в
evince а не гимпе), заодно в файловом менеджере появилась кнопочка
открыть каталог в gqview или deadbeef. Policy Kit теперь спрашивает
пароль пользователя, а не рута (это нужно, например, при монтировании
несъёмных дисков), и sudo тоже стало спрашивать пароль.
И, естественно, всё что сегодня сизиф принёс.
Но это всё мелочи. У нас наконец-то появились нескучные обои!

IMG можно записывать на флешку с помощью dd, ISO можно записать на
cd/dvd, а развёрнутый каталог пригодится для всех остальных случаев.
Для обновления НЕ нужно перезаписывать образ целиком, достаточно
заменить файлы eeelive и syslinux/alt0/*. Более того, ничто не мешает
держать на одном носителе несколько версий.
