partclone по сути переписанный partimage. partclone перебивает все
возможности partimage и написан хотя бы нормально. Единственная
потребность в partimage может возникнуть только у тех, у кого накопилось
огромное число образов разделов partimage (FAT16, FAT32 и NTFS до 3.0,
т.е. максимум Windows XP). Разделы Windows 7 и выше она ошибочно
принимает за поддерживаемые, но нормально не восстанавливает. Входит в
ALT Rescue. Я бы удалил. А кому очень надо, держит под рукой старую
версию ALT Rescue. Объяснения наличия partimage в других дистрибутивах у
меня нет. Шифровать образы очевидно лучше не openssl, для этого есть
более подходящие инструменты.
