Вот только с такой заменой предётся сделать одно из двух: переписать
всё что сейчас у нас в initrd есть на busybox-utils или портировать
утилиты из klibc на другую libc. Первое через чур... тем более что
утилиты из klibc очень хорошо оптимизированы под свою задачу. Второй
вариант удвоит размер initrd (если использовать glibc). Если
портировать на что-то другое, то размер будет меньше, а работы по
портированию гораздо больше.
Мне кажется, что утилиты напрямую не относящиеся к процессу загрузки
не стоят таких усилий.
