А отчего по адресу:
ftp://ftp.altlinux.org/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/4.0/Desktop/4.0.1/i586/SRPMS.classic/
расположены не ссылки на файлы в
ftp://ftp.altlinux.org/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/4.0/Desktop/4.0.1/files/SRPMS/
а копии файлов?
Через rsync та же картина. Очень большой размерчик получается.
