Мейнтейнер gedit открыт к любым пожеланиям и предложениям это 
закостылить. Могу делать симлинк gedit-2.pc -> gedit-2.x.pc . Можно 
держать симлинки gedit-2.(x-2*n, n=1..3).pc -> gedit-2.x.pc .
