Может кто-нибудь все-таки решиться взять на себя сей заброшенный пакет?

Означенный сервис по сию пору ищет интерфейсы, на которых подниматься,
в чаще всего отсутствующем /etc/conf.linuxconf, всякий раз ругаясь.
Предлагаю внести новый параметр DHCP=[yes|no|empty] в определения интерфейсов
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-(ethX|pppX|irlanX|etc).
Переработанный ини-скрипт /etc/rc.d/init.d/dhcpd прилагается.
P.S.
Возможно, в части добавления широковещательного маршрута на все dhcp-интерфейсы
я накосячил - увы, маршрутизацию до сих пор не понимаю :(
