Поставил сегодня новое ядро потестировать.

Сразу - заметно упала скорость работы жесткого диска на ATA-100:
[root@rider /root]#  hdparm -t /dev/hde

/dev/hde:
 Timing buffered disk reads:  64 MB in  8.02 seconds =  7.98 MB/sec
[root@rider /root]#  hdparm /dev/hde

/dev/hde:
 multcount    = 16 (on)
 I/O support  =  0 (default 16-bit)
 unmaskirq    =  0 (off)
 using_dma    =  1 (on)
 keepsettings =  0 (off)
 nowerr       =  0 (off)
 readonly     =  0 (off)
 readahead    =  8 (on)
 geometry     = 3737/255/63, sectors = 60036480, start = 0

Раньше hdparm показывал 35 мегабайт в секунду.

Кто виновать? ;-)
