Я намучился со сборкой монолитного texlive, он в таком виде не пролезет
в сизиф. проще, наверное, будет его распилить
(см. [sisyphus] RoboTeX newsletter III.)
а если распилить texlive, то по сути он и распадется
на texmf-*-подобные пакеты, которые можно обновлять независимо
от texlive.
