Эту дискуссию и думал поднять (припоминая давнее обсуждение
изменения в pkg-config), а ещё заглянул в офлайновый ~/BUGS.txt,
когда счётчик подбирался к 30000 %)
По существу: как обсудили вчера вечером, то, что зачем-то назвали
Requires.private, всё-таки требуется в процессе компиляции и потому
нам придётся обеспечивать генерацию зависимостей lib*-devel таким
образом, чтобы не возвращаться к ручному отлову и вписыванию того,
что должен был вписать генератор.
Возможно, что-то на эту тему уже сделано в более новом pkg-config.
Надеюсь, ничего не приврал.
