Я не настаиваю, что это край как нужно.
Но донастроить уже имеющийся интерфейс мне тогда показалось удобнее, чем заводить новый дополнительный.
Других, более веских примеров "чего мы теряем", я пока придумать не смог.
Будут примеры, напишу еще.
