Как можно называть исключительное явление нормальным? С другими пакетами
такого безобразия обычно не происходит. Если для ghc это нормально, то
надо либо менять такой ghc, любо убирать ghc от репозитория.

Тогда я удаляю старый ghc вместе с darcs.
Кому надо, тот соберет более свежий darcs с ghc7.4.2.
Для справки: у нас darcs-2.5.2, в федоре darcs-2.8.1.
