Поддержка дистрибутивов комплекта Альт Линукс 5.0 Ковчег осуществляется до 1
ноября 2010 года. В течение этого периода выпускаются обновления:
* по безопасности;
* для поддержки оборудования средствами свободного программного обеспечения по
мере появления возможности его тестировать;
* новые версии важных пакетов при возможности сохранения обратной
совместимости.
Поддержка распространяется на пакеты, расположенные на дисках дистрибутивов.
Все выпущенные обновления доступны на официальном FTP-сервере:
ftp://updates.altlinux.ru/ и его зеркалах.
Фактически это поддержка p5 в части пакетов, попавших в дистрибутивы.
