Всем доброго.
После более внимательного изучения ldap.h между ветками 2.3 и
2.4 стало понятным, что фокус с "подменой" библиотеки не
получится. По этому была подготовлена новая сборка openldap'а.
От старого (2.3) openldap'а остается только библиотека
(libldap2.3) и пакет openldap. Надеюсь это позволит сделать переход
наиболее безболезненным без массовой пересборки зависимых от
libldap2.3 пакетов. В системе могут спокойно сосуществовать
libldap2.3 и libldap2.4. Dist-upgrade не будет приводит к
обновлению вашего openldap сервера и клиента.
При установки openldap2.4-server не будет производиться
автоматической конвертации базы и конфигурационных файлов. Об
этом должен позаботиться сам пользователь.
