$ rpmquery -p --provides libwnck2.20-2.20.1-alt2.i586.rpm |fgrep .so.
libwnck-1.so.22
$ rpmquery -p --provides libwnck2.22-2.22.1-alt1.i586.rpm |fgrep .so.
libwnck-1.so.22
$ rpmquery -p --provides libwnck-2.24.2-alt2.i586.rpm |fgrep .so.

Их этих трёх пакетов
Dec 8 00:44 libwnck-2.24.2-alt2.src.rpm
Apr 9 2008 libwnck2.22-2.22.1-alt1.src.rpm
Mar 17 2008 libwnck2.20-2.20.1-alt2.src.rpm
apt-get install libwnck-1.so.22 устанавливает не самый свежий пакет
libwnck2.22-2.22.1-alt1
Кто может объяснить, зачем при живом libwnck-2.24 нужны libwnck2.22-2.22.1
и libwnck2.20-2.20.1, реализующие один и тот же soname?

Остатся должен только один - libwnck-2.24.
Остальные в obsolete.
Я вроде следил, когда переименовывал пакет обратно в libwnck.

даже Obsoletes правильно стоит. Чего же тогда наш apt этого не видит?
