А что wxGTK уже собираються  без поддержки OpenGL или проблема более

$ ldd -r /usr/lib/libwx_gtk2u_gl-2.8.so | grep GL
libGL.so.1 => /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 (0xb75ab000)
libGLcore.so.1 => /usr/lib/libGLcore.so.1 (0xb6139000)

как бы намекает нам, что проблема не в wxGTK.

Прооблему со зборкой wxmacmolplt, требующей сборку wxWidgets с
поддержкой  OpenGL решил.
Всем спасибо.
