Варианты нужно рассматривать предметно, то есть, в значительной степени,
имея в виду особенности пакета eric, связанные с его работоспособностью,
а не сам факт появления анмета; а также имея в виду пользователей пакета
eric, что им нужно или не нужно.
Не разбираясь во всём этом предметно, я бы не рискнул делать
предложения. Однако замечу, что в Сизифе также есть пакет eric4.
