По ходу пьесы выявилось ещё две моих ночных заморочки:
когда образ загрузили и передали ему управление, выяснилось,
что в процессе изменил ядро с std-pae на std-def (при этом
на ftp осталось std-pae с модулями) и забыл вытащить .disk/info.
Одним словом, установка уже происходит, исходя из:
ftp://ftp.linux.kiev.ua/pub/Linux/ALT/people/mike/netinst/altlinux-4.1-20080528-desktop-i586-ru-netinst.iso
в качестве загрузочного; после загрузки:
F4: FTP
server: ftp.linux.kiev.ua
directory: /pub/Linux/ALT/people/mike/netinst/M41
и параметром ядра: ramdisk_size=131072
Как бы теперь это автоматизировать... при загрузке всё равно
метод установки -- CDROM, хотя и http://tinyurl.com/5trget
