И вообще кажется более осмысленным добавлять поддержку eeepc
именно в десктопный профиль. Если б здесь (или в desktop@)

Ты, похоже, хочешь почитать http://wiki.sisyphus.ru/devel/mkimage
и сделать
./configure --with-kernel=wks=smp
make live-lite.cd
а потом допатчить профиль по надобности и предложить
мне или boyarsh@ его смержить ;-)
