Пакетов слишком много для того чтоб средний человек мог прочитать хотя бы половину описаний даже того, что выводиться, например, по запросу video

Да, мне тоже больше нравится та или иная иерархия и я неспроста упомянул desktop файлы, но существуют и другие решения, например с группами rpm и/или метапакетами
