Да вот, оказался актуальным. Настроил GPRS и вызываю его:
pppd call kyivstar
Соединяется нормально, показывает полученный адрес, адреса DNS, но ping
www.google.com не проходит.
Смотрю /etc/resolv.conf -- не изменился и полученные DNS-ы не прописались.
Добавил строчку в /etc/resolv.conf:
#ppp temp entry
и после перезапуска pppd все магическим образом заработало.
