А кстати, в чём разница между этими файлами? Я попробовал одновременно
воспользоваться service ifrename и etcnet и обнаружил, что чтобы они не
ссорились, у них должны быть идентичные iftab'ы. И в итоге сделал
ln -s /etc/iftab /etc/net/iftab
Проблем в части переименования интерфейсов с тех пор не наблюдаю.
