я специально залил одной транзакцией libdrm, иксы, дрова. а в инкаминге
оказалась засада.
как то странно получается - наличие версии пакета проверяется из current, а
собираем со stable. и что у нас получается на выходе?

Всё правильно.
Если пакет уже попал в current, то его уже нельзя собирать.

А с чем же ещё?

Зависит от того, что пришло в incoming.
Сборка оттуда всё ещё сортируется по buildtime.
