А почему сейчас на
ftp://ftp.altlinux.org/pub/distributions/archive/Sisyphus/
видно только директорий index, но нет самих архивов? Это временно?

Это происходит вследствие замены оборудования на площадке.

По какой причине там могут отсутствовать версии? И где их теперь искать?
Конкретно речь идёт о nano -
ftp://ftp.altlinux.org/pub/distributions/archive/Sisyphus/index/nano
Отсутствуют версии 2.0.4 и 2.0.5

Они там снова появятся через некоторое время, когда архив вернётся в online.

Индекс обновлялся реже чем сам архив.
