Если там есть что-то вроде Include vhosts.d/*.conf, то оно.

В случае 1.3 родной выкинут то ли в документацию, то ли вообще,
и кладётся самописный. Пару раз за последние года три я сверял
изменения в httpd.conf и заодно -- mime.types.
