Приветствую.
Несколько филосовский вопрос. Тут могут и мнения разные быть, и речь уже о
мёртвом, а как будет в новом, пока предполагает ограниченное число людей. :-)
В общем, второй, как минимум, раз наступаю на грабли с размером extended.
Раздел создаётся по границе последнего логического. Если оставить место
на будущее, то создавать надо будет primary, коих остаётся всего два.
Чем размер extended поправить, не ясно. В общем, надо Extended создавать
до конца диска.
parted посмотрел и не понял:
(parted) resize 4 408 9729
Error: Can't have overlapping partitions.
А
(parted) print

Наводит на мысль, что START и END в
resize NUMBER START END resize partition NUMBER and its file system
не в цилиндрах задаётся. И ещё "and its file system" настораживает...
