*Caution:* If you are, as I am, an owner of ATI video card, then don't
expect the 3D, via proprietory driver "fglrx", to work with 10.2. The
reason is that openSUSE 10.2 comes with X.Org 7.2, and the latest supplied
drivers from ATI as of today support X.Org up to only 7.1. So if you
really can't work wihtout OpenGL acceleration, then wait till new drivers
with X.Org 7.2 are released. Remember, you do get opensource "radeon"
driver with openSUSE 10.2, but then all that XGL stuff will have to wait a
little *!!!*

ATI наконец-то родило дрова для 7.2 и скоро всех ими обрадует.
