Хотелось бы услышать мнения по следующему вопросу:
mplayer.1 предоставляет мануал и по mplayer, и по mencoder.
Раньше было так: в пакете MPlayer содержался mencoder.1, являвшився
софт-линком на mplayer.1. Это доставляло некоторые "неудобства": для
просмотра mencoder(1) требовалось обязательно установить MPlayer (со всемы
вытекающими последствиями/зависимостями).
Какой вариант по вашему мнению лучше реализовать:
1) поместить в пакет mencoder копию mplayer.1 под именем mencoder.1
2) вынести mplayer.1 (их несколько - на разных языках) и соответствующие
софтлинки на них в виде mencoder.1 в отдельный пакет mplayer-man c
Provides: mencoder-man
в этом пакете.
а) Указать зависимости на этот пакет в пакетах mplayer и mencoder
б) Не указывать зависимости на этот пакет в пакетах mplayer и mencoder
3) Возможно, ещё какой-то вариант (?)
Вариант "разделить man-страничку на mplayer/mencoder составляющую" прошу не
предлагать (разве что вместе с инструментом для автоматического разделения):)
