Я всеми конечностями за!
Для сборки пакетов использую хашер и маленький репозитарий, состоящий
только их пакетов нужных для сборки моих пакетов. Тащить и потом
вручную каждый раз обновлять под полсотни пакетов из-за xorg-x11-devel
я не хочу.
Собственно я уже не раз поднимал эту тему, но это мало кому надо:

gtk+-devel зависит от xorg-x11-devel. ldv@ сказал, что ничего
страшного в этом не видит. Я так и не собрал в Сизиф wmClockMon
из-за этого (да и кому он нужен?)

libdockapp-devel тянет за собой xorg-x11-devel в сборочницу. raorn@
отодвинул исправление этого тривиального бага на непонятно долгий
срок. В итоге вместо двух пакетов реально нужных для
libdockapp-devel в чрут каждый раз устанавливается 44 пакета.
