Ради хохмы сравнил glib'овые *.h между GLIB_2_8_0 и glib-2-8, так вот:

Так что даже если фиксировать интерфейсы только в стабильных ветках glib2,
то GLIB_2.8 недостаточно для 2.8, нужно ещё и GLIB_2.8.5.
