Собрал я тут пакетец emovix.
Как написано в README исходников:
"eMoviX is a tiny Linux CD distribution containing all the software to boot
from a CD and play automatically every video file localized in the CD root.
Supported formats are all formats supported by MPlayer, most noticeably
DivX & XviD but more in general most AVI, MPEG, QuickTime, WMV, ASF, FLI and
a few others"
Замечу, что продукт сделан (и содержит) из syslinux 2.00, mplayer 0.90, alsa 0.9.1
на базе slackware 8.0 и linux kernel 2.4.20 (все "не альтовской" сборки).
Штука _очень_ интересная, а одним из её фронт-эндов является k3b. C помощью k3b+eMovix я уже делал self bootable CD. Работает.
Вопрос: "Стоит ли класть eMovix в Сизиф?". Ведь в случае его наличия в Сизифе фактически получается дистрибутив в дистрибутиве!
