Swig 1.3 is the problem. I'm trying trying to find out what the problem
is.

Filed a bug in october, have not heard anything yet. Bug #76621.

--buggy-redhat8 sounds appealing ;-)

I'll do something, because we need a test for pygnome that can build on
machines without X, for debian autobuilders.
