Так в пакете и взять - info gettext.
А куда его собрались втаскивать - в сам OpenLDAP? Там может выползти
вопрос с лицензиями. Хотя сама библиотека gettext сейчас под LGPL, и
собирать с ней можно почти что угодно, по умолчанию gettextize засовывает
весь ее исходник в проект (каталог intl). Если так не годится, придется
поковыряться в скриптах.
