Доброе время суток.

Обнаружил, что "девелоперский" симлинк на /lib/libdb-3.1.so
называется libdb.so:

[mhz ~]$ rpm -qvl db3-devel | grep /usr/lib
-r--r--r--     root     root      7201892 Окт  2 02:00
/usr/lib/libdb-3.1.a
-rw-r--r--     root     root          625 Окт  2 02:01
/usr/lib/libdb-3.1.la
lrwxrwxrwx     root     root           17 Окт  2 02:01 /usr/lib/libdb.so
-> /lib/libdb-3.1.so
-rw-r--r--     root     root          649 Окт  2 02:01
/usr/lib/libdb_tcl-3.1.lalrwxrwxrwx     root     root           16 Окт  2
02:01 /usr/lib/libdb_tcl.so -> libdb_tcl-3.1.so

Есть ли это хорошо? PHP 4 просит '-ldb-3', когда конфигурирешь ее с
--with-db3
